All cargo entering or departing from New Zealand must have a clearance release from the New Zealand Customs Service and other border control agencies. This requires the preparation of an Import or Export Entry, as well as ensuring that the relevant compliance regulations such as MAF, Health Department etc have been met. An electronic entry must then be submitted to NZ Customs. Once release is achieved goods can enter or leave the New Zealand border.
This is a crucial point of the supply chain process where mistakes canot be made. Our experienced and fully qualified team of brokers will work with you to ensure that all compliance issues are met and also consult with you on your products to ensure no unnecessary duties or taxes are paid.
Our comapny is one of the few forwarders in New Zealand to be appointed as a “Frontline” partner to the New Zealand Customs Service. FrontLine is a business partnership programme, aimed at linking the New Zealand Customs Service and selected business in partnerships in trade, community development, and enforcement. It means Customs and Cameron Air & Seafreight will undertake to work together to understand each other’s tasks and problems, and look for practical solutions.
With our Global partners we also offer full clearance services at all major overseas ports.
